Privacy Policy

When you use ResuFix, we collect the following information:

• Account information: Email address and authentication credentials when you create an account.
• Resume content: The text you paste or upload for AI analysis, including any job target descriptions you provide.
• Usage data: App interaction patterns and feature usage to help us improve the service.
• Device information: Basic device and browser details for debugging and compatibility purposes.

We use your information for the following purposes:

• To provide AI-powered resume analysis and feedback.
• To save your resume history and allow you to revisit past analyses.
• To authenticate your account and secure your data.
• To improve our AI models and app functionality (using anonymized data where possible).
• To communicate important updates about the service.

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and infrastructure:

• Resume text and analysis results are stored in our secure database.
• Authentication is handled using industry-standard JWT tokens with secure httpOnly cookies.
• Data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and associated data at any time.
• We do not sell your personal data or resume content to third parties.

ResuFix uses generative AI to analyze your resume. Before any AI request is made, the app displays an in-app consent dialog explaining what data will be sent and which provider will process it. You must tap I Agree to proceed. No resume or job description data is sent to any AI provider until you explicitly provide that consent.

• What is sent: the resume text you paste or upload and, when provided, the job target or job description you enter.
• Provider: requests are routed through the Lovable AI Gateway to Google Gemini (google/gemini-2.5-flash), which generates the analysis and returns it to ResuFix.
• Purpose: the AI output is used solely to produce the resume feedback shown to you in the app.
• Storage of AI output: if you are signed in, the resume text you submitted and the AI-generated review are saved to your account history so you can revisit them. You can remove individual entries from History or delete everything by deleting your account.
• Revoking consent: you can revoke AI processing consent at any time from Settings → Manage AI Consent. Once revoked, the app will not send any data to the AI provider until you consent again. You can also stop processing by not submitting further resumes, or delete your account to remove all associated data.

We use the following third-party services to operate ResuFix:

• AI/ML Services: Resume analysis is powered by Google Gemini, accessed via the Lovable AI Gateway. Your resume text and any job description you provide are sent to this provider for processing only after you confirm the in-app AI consent dialog.
• Authentication & Database: User authentication, account storage, and resume review history are handled by Supabase (Lovable Cloud).
• Analytics: We may use anonymized analytics to understand app usage and improve performance.

All third-party providers are vetted for security and privacy compliance. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

You can permanently delete your ResuFix account at any time from Settings → Delete account. Account deletion is immediate and irreversible.

• Your authentication record (email and credentials) is removed from our authentication provider.
• All saved resume submissions, job targets, and AI-generated reviews tied to your account are permanently deleted from our database.
• Locally cached drafts and AI consent preferences are cleared from the device that initiates the deletion.
• Once an account is deleted, the data cannot be recovered. To use ResuFix again you would need to create a new account.

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access: You can view all resume analyses and history tied to your account.
• Deletion: You can delete individual resume entries or your entire account and all associated data.
• Correction: You can update your account email or re-submit resume text at any time.
• Portability: You can export your resume and analysis data in standard formats.
• Opt-out: You can disable autosave and session storage features in the app settings.
